We had a project to do where we were asked to recycle something. We’ll being it’s Christmas we have tons of gift boxes and tissue paper laying around. Plus, it’s rainy and cold here in FL, so a craft it is. We couldnt decide on making a Christmas tree or a wreath, so we made both.
We gathered up everything we needed, not pictured is the plate and bowl I used to make our circles in the cardboard
after tracing the circles in a size we liked. I cut the wreath out the cardboard. This is a thin giftbox so it was really easy. After cutting out the biggest circle I folded it in half and cut out the inner circle
We used two different colors of green tissue paper in our project. I just left it folded and cut off ”strips” which I then cut into smaller squares.
We put glue onto construction paper that we folded into a cone and onto the wreath form we made and smeared it all over.
Then it was just letting her stick paper pieces where she wanted them.
She skipped to adding her decorations early but we finished adding paper around them.
to finish them off we used a gold pipe cleaner to make a star and a “hook”.
Just a fun easy craft to pass time on a rainy day and bonus you get rid of left over items from other projects.

* in the Christmas tree we used a paper towel cardboard holder cut to size inside the tree to stand it up.
