Eucalyptus smells so great and this wreath can hang in your kitchen to give you that wonderful scent all year long!
I do a lot of floral arranging and often include eucalyptus for filling in with greenery and for the delicious scent. You can just naturally let eucalyptus dry and save for future projects and flower arranging, to add to a wreath or create a wreath on it's own.
In creating the wreath in this post I grabbed some of the eucalyptus stems and not the seeded part and made the wreath before it had a chance to dry out. It's much easier to work with when not completely dry.
I took some 12 gauge aluminum floral wire and bent it into the shape of a heart for this project. You could create any shape that you desire. Using wire cutters I cut the end once I had the basic shape and twisted it together. You'll find more tips on my blog and if you subscribe I have a FREE seasonal decorating guide as well!
NOTE...you should wear gloves when working with cut wire as a precaution.
Once I had my heart shape I used more of the wire to tie in the eucalyptus. You can also scent this with essential oil once the natural scent has faded. Please see my blog post linked below for this (and other) easy ideas!
