Sometimes when you haven't a lot of spare time DIY time you just need to create something quick and easy using pre-bought products. And that is exactly what happened with this Super Easy DIY Starfish Wreath....
Living in a small town, for me online shopping is so convenient for my favourite city stores.
And the 2 things that it took to make this very simple wreath,
were bought that way via Spotlight Online NZ.
The cane wreath and starfish are very standard craft items, so I'm sure you could find them in your local craft supply store or via Amazon if you are not in New Zealand.
Cut the twine hanger off the wreath and save it to reattach once the wreath is painted. I already had the spray paint in my paint stash (do you have a paint stash?) but my go to spray paint is as I have said before (because of coverage and no clog nozzles), is Rust-Oleum Universal Paint and primer in one.
The colour I have used in this project is Matte Citron.
So to make this beach inspired wreath:
Spray paint the wreath one side making sure of even colour coverage.
Leave 20 minutes. Turn and Spray other side.
Leave wreath to dry another hour or overnight.
Hot glue on the starfish (I used two from my pack of three).
Put the jute string hanger back onto the wreath.

Hang on Front door using a command hook
or a small screw in hook if you have a wood door like me.
How SUPER EASY is that??
Now I have a cute beach inspired wreath for my Front Door.
Popping with gorgeous sunny yellow...
