My kids have been enjoying several “snow days” this month so we’ve had lots of time at home for creating! One of the days we decided to pull out our Valentine’s decorations. I decided to bring out some of my craft supplies and we got to work creating a Burlap Bubble Wreath! If you’ve been around for a while, you know I LOVE making Burlap Bubble Wreaths!

Here’s the one we made for the inside of our door.

Here’s how we made it!

Supplies:

-1/4 yard red burlap

-1 heart foam wreath form

-pins

-scissors

-heart picks from Dollar Tree (optional)

-twisty tie (not pictured)

1) Cut burlap into equal sized squares. I did 3″ x 3″

2 a) Fold opposite corners in

b) Fold in other corners to the same way

c) You will create a “pouf”

d) Place pin in the bottom part

3) Insert pin into foam wreath making sure to fill in all gaps. *I prefer the stringy, frayed look – but if you don’t you can cut them off (burlap frays reallllly bad)

4) Insert heart picks and trim wooden sticks if needed

5) Make a loop with a twisty tie and pin to the back of the wreath. You’re now ready to hang it up!
