Wood Slice Easter Egg Wreath

This Wood Slice Easter Egg Wreath is a fun and easy project that adds a little rustic natural texture to your Easter décor. How fun are wood slice crafts??
Our finished Easter Egg Wood Slice Wreath- I hung it on the old shutter doors that live behind the pew bench in our dining room.
I made this adorable egg shaped wreath using wood slices or wood rounds that my husband cut for me from a branch in our yard. I also used some burlap and chevron ribbon for the bow at the top.
Gluing them together went very quickly and easily - I added three overlapping layers for strength.
There are some tips about how I created the bow on my blog post... it was a challenge for me!

You did a fabulous job - such creative vision! My question is for your husband - what's the best way to cut the wood slices? I tried a compound miter saw - didn't go very smoothly.
