Creating Mixed Media Artwork, a Project You Can Do With Your Kids!

Looking for a new way to create art? Looking for a project to do with your kids? Have you ever tried creating art using several types of mediums, but do not know where to start? I share a Step by Step Tutorial, with the help of my 10 year old daughter on my blog on how to create your own unique and fun multi media artwork!
We created a two piece mixed media art set.

This is how we started prepping the canvases. we used pages from an old book and mod podged them to cover each canvas before adding paint!
Using simple craft paints we created our backdrop.
Here is a picture showing how to add texture to your painting, my daughter is paining bubble wrap to add dimension.
