Decorating Our Mailbox for the Holidays!

4 Materials
I love to decorate our house, including the front door, for the holidays (you can check out my full Christmas home tour by clicking {here}!) Unfortunately, since our home faces away from the road, the only people who can see our front entry all decorated up are visitors to our home. So I decided to add some holiday cheer to our mailbox with a super simple greenery swag that everyone who passes our home will see!
To start, simply clip some small evergreen branches from your yard or, if you don't have any, stop by a Christmas tree stand and ask for some. They'll usually give you extra clippings for free! Take your first evergreen bundle and tie it with a thick hairband (plain rubber bands can break when exposed to sun and heat). Then position it over your mailbox so the hairband is close to the center and use thin green floral wire wrapped around the mail post to secure it in place.
Repeat the same step with another greenery swag, positioning it on the opposite side of the mailbox.
Then take wire-edged ribbon and make a bow out of it by looping it back and forth and then typing it tightly in the middle with floral wire. Loop another piece of floral wire through the one holding the bow together and use it to secure the bow to the middle of the two evergreen swags on top of the mailbox.
