Blue + White Wintry Holiday Decor
I wanted to share a quick tour of my lakehouse and the wintry, sparkly holiday makeover it got this year. My house is already decorated in a cool palette of blues, turquoise and shades of white so I played up on that color palette and added shimmery silvers and lots of natural greenery:
For the mantle, I made my own felt ball garland and cedar wreath, then added shimmering white stocking and glittery faux birch bark cone trees. The little tree-shaped lavender plant is the cutest!
I love making natural wreaths for the holidays - they smell so amazing!
I mixed in some shimmering silver/white pillows with my usual collection of blue throw pillows for an icy touch:
For a centerpiece, I used three huge vases filled with fresh cedar and glittering picks.
I created little mini "wreaths" for each guest - and I love those DIY dyed doilies.
