I know it's early . However with natural element challenge I had to use up my pine cones lol. This is easy to do and on budget. Enjoy.
I like to show how it looks at the end first lol. Next are the steps how I began. Which always starts though with a trip to dollar tree for supplies lol.
Believe me this is going to be your best buddy project cleaner upper. I forgot to lay down my newspaper for this project and got glitter all over. Thank you for lint tape not only for your clothes now...
Gather your supplies. Might not make it out but that's a clear plastic tray for your project to be display on. I wrap red tissue around a second one so you can see it. I forgot to take picture of the straw wreath I wrapped with the glitter ribbons. And please make sure you have newspaper laid down.. that's why I said you will need the lint tape to get it up. (All over my carpet but the tape got it up)I also forgot the spray can of silver paint for the pine cones I got from my yard. You can use gold too. You will want to paint them the day before. Snow flakes were white I sprayed those to. (Last year I recycled these).
That's the red vase I used. I stuffed it with more red tissue paper and pine cones. They will hold your stem flowers in place. You may need a pair of wire cutters depending how you place your stem flowers. To shorten the ones in front.
Wrap your tray first in the color of tissue you want to use. Next choose your color ribbons and wrap them around your straw wreaths.place your decorations..I did snow flakes.
Next stuff tissue in your vase if you use a square one like I did. Place small pine cones inside this will help keep your flowers in place. Place in the center of your wreath on the tray.
This is my first flower piece. Tall goes in the back.
My second piece a cut with wire cutters for the middle.
And my final piece sprayed some silver paint on a piece of pine needles from my tree from out side added gold flower stem cut shorter with wire cutters.
Then I moved to my table to see how it would look. I added the blue lights last minute. (Blue lights came from my scarecrow center piece I posted at the beginning of the month). I don't have the best pictures sorry old tablet. But enjoy!(the snowflakes you can make your own with hot glue on wax paper and spray paint) it only took me about hour to put together. But if using say paint like I did you want to do your painting day before. I use pine cones and pine needles from my yard but you can buy she's from the dollar tree to. But I love to use what nature gives us too! Oh I added more cones around the wreath. Later I may add tiny presents lol.
