Christmas Frame 2
Another home made Christmas frame. This one is quite a bit simpler than last time so might be a better one to choose if you've not made much before.
Here's what you'll need. A large shadow box frame, various christmas embellishments, double sided sticky pads, pritt stick, red ribbon and different patterns of Christmas paper in squares.
First position your different christmas papers in a way you're happy with. Contrasting colours work best next to each other. Keep experimenting until you're happy with the order. Use the backing of the frame or a piece of card and stick the papers in the decided order using pritt stick.
Position the red ribbon as shown to separate the papers. This adds a nicer finish. Use pritt stick to stick it down.
At this stage you should have something that looks like this.
Next add your embellishments. Again, you will need to experiment and change position until you are happy with how they all look. Again, generally contrasting colours work best. I am quite fussy, so this stage takes a while. I don't like the 2 reindeer being on top of each other in the example positions shown above, so will reposition those before sticking.
Once you are happy with the position, use the double sided sticky pads to stick them down. There you have it. A home made from scratch christmas frame to bring some personal Christmas cheer to your home.

Very nice. So simple. Looks great. Change the fabric for different holidays or seasons.

I would recommend using glue tape, as opposed to a Prit glue stick, for attaching the ribbon. The width of the glue tape is much closer to the width of the ribbon, and so will eliminate unwanted stickiness on the sides of the ribbon. Rolls of glue tape/permanent adhesive are available in different brands and dispenser sizes.
