Create an Angel Tree Topper From a Recycled Plastic Bottle

To me the holidays are about sharing and creating memories that will last a lifetime. I miss the days when my kids would bring home their special creations from school or Church. When they brought the decorations home, we would hang them on the tree and I would look over at their faces and remember what life is really about.
As a room mom for many years, I had the greatest fun bringing craft ideas to the kids. All I did was bring the idea and the kids did the rest. Sometimes the craft did not turn out the way I thought it should but that did not matter because imagination is what makes us all unique and special.
I created this angel tree topper because I needed a tree topper and I wanted to share with you an idea for creating a Christmas time memory. This angel does not have to be a tree topper either because she would sit on the mantle or shelf too. One day I will be a grandma and until then I will keep trying to create special crafts for families.
Creating. Inspiring. Gardening without the rules!
Simple yet a symbol of Christmas
I just could not help myself. The shape of this Dawn bottle had just the right curves
Using this old snowflake I found in a box worked perfect for wings (Dollar tree has snowflake ornaments that will work perfect too)
I just love glitter and of course, I have enough for the next 10 years (and I have had it for that long too). check out all the pics and supplies I used on my blog
