DIY Christmas Display Box

A few months ago I ordered a bamboo organizer for one of my kitchen drawers. Sadly, I measured incorrectly because it didn't fit. I never got around to returning it. But I'm glad I kept it!

Earlier this month, I found a bunch of cute ornaments at my local craft store and at the dollar spot section of Target. I thought they'd look very cute in the drawer organizer.

I thought the drawer organizer would make a cute holiday shadow/display box.

I later took the drawer organizer out to my backyard and gave it a quick coat of white spray paint.

Once the paint dried, I arranged my cute miniature Christmas decor in my new DIY Christmas shadow/curio box. I also took some tassels from my craft stash and strung them across my new display box with some twine.

I think this display box will look awesome on my living room's console table. This display would also be adorable in a child's room for the holidays.

This project was a quick and easy one, but I think it will add a lot of holiday ambiance to my home this year.
