Diy Paper Bag Star

by Lena
I love decorating my home with stars.
Interior shops are full of paper stars these days, but if you want a unique Christmas star, make your own out of paper bags:
Materials:

Paperbags

Glue

Scissors
To make the dotted star I used seven paperbags. Glue the paperbags togehter as shown in the photo above, in the shape of a "T". Glue all seven paperbags on top of eachother.
When all the paper bags are glued together, cut the bags as shown above.
Unfold the star and glue first and last paper bag together
To make the white star below I used candle bags. They already had a beautiful pattern, that made my star look really great. In this one I haven`t cut off the egdes and the star has a round shape. I glues a wooden bead in the middle of the star.

Really pretty! I've seen a few of these paper bag stars and snowflakes now and I'm thinking that the big paper grocery bags would be really cool. Hard to cut, but nice for places in the house that need big decorations.
