This cute Christmas DIY yarn pom pom garland only took a few minutes to make and barely cost anything! I love when DIY crafts are cute and affordable. I loved the way this pom pom garland looks hanging on my fireplace mantel.

I used a buddle of white knitting yarn, because I love the neutral look that the white garland has.

I wrapped the yarn around my fingers many times. Spreading my fingers apart white wrapping made it was easier to get off my fingers when I was done.

I wrapped a piece of yarn around the middle part tightly. This will be the part that holds the entire pom pom together.

I cut all the loops.

Once you cut all the loops this is what the pom pom will look like.

I attached the pom pom to a long piece of yarn to create the garland.

Here is a view of my entire Christmas Mantel. I ended up making a few different types of garlands for my fireplace. I tried many different sizes of the pom poms to make different garlands.
