This Christmas decoration is so simple that anyone can make this! If you love vintage items and you collect them like we do, shop your stash and get to creating! I actually thought up this idea last year and I loved it so much I used it again. Click the link to our blog to see last years window scene.
I've had this cheese box for several years and I normally use it in my everyday decorations for the kitchen, so I thought I'd doll it up a bit for the holidays.
You can find these cheese boxes on Etsy, yard sales, vintage resale shops...anywhere if you're looking! They are normally very inexpensive. Anywho, I emptied mine of its normal toothpicks and drinking straws and went shopping in my craft stash.
First I placed a piece of burlap in the bottom for filler. The box is a bit deep for the look I wanted, so I had to build it up a bit.
In case you don't already know, when making decorative arrangements, always use odd numbers. My great Aunt taught me that when I was really young, its a good to know! I placed 5 red plastic ornaments and then added some floral pics which I failed to snap a picture of! Sorry about that!
Just a few red feather picks and some picks that have berries, leaves and glittery gold branches. I always save little floral picks off of wreaths and arrangements or gifts and then I have them when I need them for times like this! When the holidays are over, just disassemble and return to regular use.

If you like my poinsettia curtain you can read about how I made it on our blog!
