DIY Yardstick Star

by Amber Tysl
This year, I definitely wanted simple decor that made an impact! This star made from yardsticks was no exception! This project took about five minutes total using a few nails, a can of paint, and strands of lights!
The hardest part was waiting overnight to let the paint dry. After that, I used five little nails to hold it together and wrapped the lights around each part.
(Also a little tricky because I was too impatient to wait for my husband to get home to help me hold it!)
Not bad for around $6!
Big impact, simple project! To learn more, visit our blog!
