This is a cute DIY if you don’t have a fireplace in your home!

It's easy enough for the kids to make your you to give to the kids as a gift on Christmas Eve.

What you’ll need:

metal tag

key

vinyl or sticks with alphabet

ribbon

mod podge

snow flakes

bakers twine

To get started you'll need to use the dollar tree tags

Next I cut my vinyl using the font bunch blossoms and cut Santa’s in red and magic key in black as you can see I put the red words to one side and black to the other to make at the same time .. if you know me then you know I like to make fast DIYs! (If you don’t have a machine to be able to do this you can use sticker for the dollar store.. this have some site glitter ones)

Weed your Vinly and use your transfer tape to apple on metal tag

Just like this! You can angle it or make it a little more straight I tried one of each!

Next will use your mod podge

and put it along the edges

Then pour your snow flakes over the mod podge and pat it down

Now pick out your keys Amazon or any craft store will have them

Next grab your ribbon and cut at 7” the bakers twine at 8” stack the ribbons on top one another

Use the twine in middle and knot it

Next use the twine and Threaded through the metal tag

Thread the key then

And knot

Then know two of the bakers twine making a loop

This way you can hang it!

we are done it’s all set for you to use as a gift or tree ornament! This quick diy is just another easy craft anyone can do.

This is adorable. I have seen similar and yours is right up there if not in my estimation better than the store bought. What yours does need is a hanger so that you can make a big deal with the kids about hanging it on the front door so that Santa can come inside :)
