Easy Silver & White Rustic Christmas Garland

5 Materials
I love simple homemade Christmas decorations. This is an easy to make Star and jingle bell garland.
For this project I used air dry clay for the stars. I suspect that you could also use salt dough to make the stars.
I purchased a tub of air dry clay at Walmart. I rolled out the clay with a piece of copper pipe that I happened to have handy - a standard rolling pin would have worked just as nicely. Using a star cookie cutter I cut out several stars. Caution: Don't make the stars too thin or the points will crack easily.

I used a bamboo skewer to make holes to hang the stars before I left the clay to dry. You could use a pencil tip as well. Just make sure the hole is large enough to string the twine through. After the clay was dry - I had to let mine dry overnight, I spray painted them white. Note: Drying time will vary depending on how thick the stars are.
I strung the stars and alternated jingle bells on a piece of twine to hang.
