The Falala Christmas collection from Crate Paper inspired us to make a mini Christmas village. Can’t wait to get started? Decorate the wooden Christmas trees with joyful paper, or paint them in fun colors. Use the attached template to make as much different Christmas village houses as you wish. Color the template or use it to cut out houses from scrapbook paper. Decorate your Christmas houses with cute Falala washi tape and stickers.

Print the template on an A4 sheet and cut it out. Lay it on top of the backside of a scrapbooking paper and trace the lines with a pencil.

Cut out the Christmas house. Place the template back on your paper house and score the dashed lines with an embossing pen and ruler.

Fold the Christmas village house and seal it with double sided tape. Choose another paper sheet from the Falala Christmas edition and use it to cut out the roof (12x6 cm). Tape it on top of the house. Decorate with embellishments and washi tape.

Paint 2 wooden Christmas trees in pink and green, and paint a layer of snow on top of it with some white paint. Leave to dry and paint again. Sprinkle the tops with fake snow while the paint is still wet.

Decorate the other 2 Christmas trees with paper from the Falala collection. First, paint the sides in a matching color. Then, cut the paper to size and attach it with double sided tape.

Decorate the Christmas trees with stickers and embellishments from the Falala collection. Use Vaessen Creative’s bakers twine to hang up some paper cut-outs and complete your Christmas village with little Christmas trees, cars and some more fake snow.
