Felt Christmas Napkin Rings
Felt holly napkin rings are the perfect finishing touch to add to your holiday table. These Christmas napkin rings are made with floral wire, felt, and wool felt balls--all materials easily found at your local craft store, or online.
I found all of the materials for my felt holly napkin rings at my local craft store. I made the red wool felt balls myself (tutorial available on my blog), but I've even seen those for sale at big craft stores. You could also use red craft pom poms instead of the wool felt balls, but I love the handcrafted, rustic look of the felt balls.
I used floral wire that looks like grapevine for this project. The basic napkin ring form is made by simply wrapping the wire around itself in a small circle, to form what looks like a miniature grapevine wreath.
The felt holly leaves are easily cut out of green felt. I added a little bit of detail to the leaves by embroidering a simple running stitch with a lighter green embroidery thread.
Use a low temperature glue gun to glue the felt leaves to the napkin ring base, then add the red felt ball berries to the center of the napkin ring.
These napkin rings only take a few minutes to make, and look so pretty! Get all the details on the blog post (linked below).
