Fun Holiday Pennants

Looking for some new Christmas decorations? These pennants were on sale at Hobby Lobby and I decided to grab a couple and turn them into something cute for the holidays. I love how easy felt is to work with and I love how cute these pennants turned out. I chose bright and colorful, but you can use white pennants and decorate with silver and gold for a more elegant look or red, white and green for something more traditional.

You can find these pennants in packs of two at more craft stores in several different colors.

I cut white felt into small strips and glued them to the end of the pennant with my hot glue gun.

I used ribbon to glue along the edge of the pennant.

Cut letters out with felt. You can buy pre-cut letters and numbers at the craft store also or just make your own.

Glue the letters onto the pennants.

Add decorations. I used pom poms for holly berries, but you can use buttons, glitter, pipe cleaners, gemstones, fabric stickers or anything else you have lying around.

You can use felt glue (sold by the felt at Hobby Lobby) and let kids make and decorate their own pennants. This would be fun for kids and they can make a pennant for their bedroom door.

I love how cute these pennants turned out. These would also be great decorations for a Christmas party and you can even hang one on your front door.
