Game Piece Christmas Tree

Recycle old checkers and make this cute game piece Christmas tree wall hanging. You probably have everything you need to make a similar project to this one just laying around in a junk drawer. Everyone has a junk drawer or two.

How cute is that little tree. I used all recycled items including the white tin ceiling tile.

I bought these wood checkers from my favorite junk shop. You can find checkers and other game pieces at your local thrift store.

I added a garden faucet and tiny piece of wood from my junk stash to the mix!

A hot glue gun and glue sticks is all I needed to adhere everything to the tin….while drinking my morning coffee.

Next I cut a piece of wire for a hanger and that was it. So easy.

Even though the Christmas tree is all ready to go…I won’t be hanging it on the wall for the holidays until after Thanksgiving. The rule at my house is no Christmas decor goes up until after Thanksgiving dinner. The only exception is our front porch which may or may not get decorated before Thanksgiving. It all depends on when the small fir trees are available in our area. See some of my best junky Christmas porch decor here.... Vintage Junk Eclectic Christmas Porch Decorations
