These beautiful glittered spring stars were easy and very inexpensive to make with supplies from the dollar store.

My local Dollar Tree sells theses large glittered stars for a dollar for 2.

This was a bargain and while I was there I picked up some gold ribbon.

I'm using an old spring from a chair I disassembled. I bent up the top rung of the spring so it was on almost a 90 degree angle.

I brought the springs outdoors and sprayed them with a coating of metallic spray paint.

I used thin silver wire to attach the star to the bed spring.

While I was at the Dollar Tree I picked up a package of gold organza tied bows. They come in a package of 6 and they can be wired directly to the star with no tying involved!

This was the easiest project ever and took a very short time to make.

These bedspring stars can be displayed on a mantel, around the house or even at the top of your Christmas Tree.
