Holiday Crate X 10 ~ Vintage Truck With Christmas Trees

To get the Christmas decorating ball rolling, I teamed up with several other bloggers to do a Holiday Crate x10 Challenge. I began with a plain wooden crate and a plain wooden truck and ended up with the perfect stage for my Vintage Truck with Christmas Trees.
Before I could decorate the crate, the old wooden truck needed a serious facelift. Just look at the before and after! It seriously makes me smile each time I see it... and "smiling's my favorite!"
After the truck was all gussied up, I set to work getting the crate vignette all put together. First, it needed to be put on its side.
Then I strung some battery powered lights through the slats of the crate to give the space a little glow.
Next came a bed of snow for the truck to rest upon.
A little more snow was sprinkled on the truck, and then the finishing touches were made. To see the rest of this crate transformation and get links to the other bloggers who participated in this super fun challenge for drop by Posed Perfection!

How cute! I've been wanting a vintage truck to make some Christmas decor but their so expensive. I haven't ever thought of a wooden truck. I will have to be on the watch for one.

The truck and trees with the fake snow caught my eyes.......This is adorable!!!. You don't even need the crate. I think the crate could be used as a barn with the manger.
