How to Repurpose Old Window for Christmas Decor!

I've done a few of these old windows using flat marbles that I purchased from craft stores, I love using them on, old glass window, they reflect the light so beautifully! I have a bunch of windows in the garage, so I decided to do a Christmas tree to add to my winter wonderland!
These are really not that hard & you don't have to be an artist to do one," believe me I have trouble drawing stick people"! Just use your imaginations & let those creative juices flow! Things you'll need for this is any old window, flat marbles from the craft store, Loctite GO2 gel glue & just a little vision.

Loctite GO2 Gel Glue.
I just simply run a line of glue to start with at the bottom then place my flat marbles directly on the glass pane. This glue holds great outside in heat or cold, once there on & dry, there's no removing them, it takes about an hour or two before it's completely dry so you can still adjust your marbles a little if need be!
For the tree trunk I use small stones, also from the craft store, they come in little mesh bags like the marbles.
For the tree, I put all green marbles then glued different colors right on top of the green ones to decorate my tree. As you can see I added a little snowman under the tree. Let whatever your imagination comes up with, or you may see a picture you like & recreate it. Sometimes I just play around with the marbles on the glass before I actually glue them down!

Just remember, it doesn't have to be perfect, just have fun! Merry Christmas, Hometalkers, from our home to yours!!!

I love this idea it is so beautiful and would look even more beautiful with a fire behind during the Christmas Season. Going to try it and give it to a friend next year for Christmas for his fireplace but instead of using a window I'm going to use a glass fireplace screen.
