Happy Holidays! Is your house decked out in holiday cheer? Don't stress over holiday decorating. Check out my laid back style and some of my tips for getting a beautiful, holiday filled home, without a lot of effort and Santa's elves chipping in!
Don't set yourself up for failure and think your house has to be perfectly decorated to fully be in the holiday season. Here are some "keeping it real" quick tips I use to decorate my house quickly.
I keep plenty of these "fake" pine boughs on hand. They are beautiful draped over mirrors, bannisters, bookshelves, etc. You can easily dress them up with ribbon, decorative items you can find on sale at your local craft store, or anything that says festive to you.
Use LOTS of Ornament Balls. You can purchase them for a very low cost at thrift stores this time of year. Tuck them into bookshelves.
Fill vases with them and display them as a center piece.
Even use an old Colander and use as a decorative item on your Dining Table.
Here are more of the Pine Swags. I like to wrap them around the bannister and tie ribbons on them, accentuated with a large ribbon at the end. I even wrap lights around them. Hope this gives you some easy ideas to get your house ready for the holidays in no time, for very little cost.
