Merry Christmas everyone!

Adding up last-minute Christmas decor with items that you have at home. This year I made it a point to not purchase a lot of Christmas decors Given our current situation and the amount of boxes we have at home since we can't go out. Here's a way to recycle them.

I've always wanted to make a gingerbread house (not the edible one) because they look so cute and festive. So here's an easy version you all can follow.

First, you cut out a house pattern. This one is a small size but you can make a bigger one out of this pattern.

Cut out the patterns and make doors and windows.

Assemble your pattern to make a house

Make scallop border stencil to pattern your roof.

Add use glue to attach it.

Then we will create cute but easy detail. Using our candy cane technique I shared in my previous post.

And then we will cut a red rectangle for the door. I have a holly cookie cutter detail and thought they will look cute in it.

Also, decided to cut windows so the light will look brighter from the front view. You can do this step at the beginning.

I then attached the chimney using super glue and added white clay.

I still have Epsom salt and used it as snow. But it's a bit of chunk and turned looking like hail. :D If you can use a more refined material it would look better. And then I added a white candy cane to cover the imperfections on the side of the house.

Then, use a tealight candle or fairy lights and put it inside the house. And we are done! :)

I may have missed some steps here, so I'm linking the full tutorial on my Youtube channel. Drop me a message below if you have questions. Happy holidays and be safe! xoxo - Gyl
