Mini Presents Christmas Tree

Repurposing things to make decorative trees for Christmas is a lot of fun, and because I got my mini presents at the dollar store and thrift stre this project didn't cost much either.

I started with a bunch of mini presents in various sizes. I found some at the dollar store but I already had a few packages that I found at my local thrift store.

I cut out a piece of hard cardboard to the size I wanted for the base of the tree, making sure it was large enough so I could make the tree shape with the presents.

I spray painted it green just in case any of it would be seen when I was done adding the presents.

Then I just started gluing the presents on with my glue gun. Here you can see the bottom row.

As I made my way up I glued the presents slightly inward to create the tree shape.

I love all the different colors of the presents, and the shiny paper that the presents are wrapped in is really Christmassy.

I graduated to the smaller presents as I made up way up, just kind of figuring it out by eye.

This is a quick and easy project that can add some fun to any Christmas decor. It would look great in a Christmas centerpiece on the table too.
