One Small Tree, One Pot, Designed Three Ways

I had on hand from an old project three white plastic containers that I bought at Dollar Tree for 1.00. I also had a faux tabletop Christmas tree that I bought at Hobby Lobby for 50% off.

I am going to show you three different ways the container can be decorated to give the tabletop tree a beautiful appearance.

On the above container, I glued red berries with hot glue around the edge of the container.

I placed the tree into the container and added two bows on each side and added raffia to fill the gaps between the tree and the container.

Design #2 using the same tree and the second container from the pack of three. Here I mod podge a sheet of music around the pot and hot glued cotton buds around the edge and added check ribbon.

For the last container, I mod podge and added gold glitter to the container. I then added white satin ribbon bows to each side and filled the gap with wide gold open weave ribbon.

I also added small bells, I got at the Dollar Tree. This was a fun project and with just a few supplies I was able. to get three different beautiful looks.

Suggested materials:

  • White Container   (Dollar Tree (3 for 1.00))
  • Tabletop Tree   (Hobby Lobby (50% Off))
  • Ribbon, and Decorative Picks, Glitter   (Hobby Lobby)
