How to Flock Your Own Christmas Tree
Yes you can. You can buy cans of flocking.
ive always wanted to do this to my tree! I would suggest taking one branch and flock it and then once dry then mess with it and see if the flocking stays or falls off! You've inspired me to try this now on one of my tres cuz I've wanted to but afraid to try! thanks!
Hello, Yes, you can flock it. It can get messy though putting it away, unless you just cover it and put away with everything on it. My parents did and covered with old sheet and put away and the following years then uncover it and set it up. Hope this was helpful.
Yes, definitely! And there are lots of different ways to do it, from buying flocking spray to making your own DIY flocking powder with household items. There are a bunch of ideas here if you need them. Maybe try out a few on snipped branches and see what works best? https://www.hometalk.com/diy/decorate/christmas/diy-flocked-christmas-tree-44722852
You can buy flocking kits from Amazon.
White paint works well too. Make sure you spray it outside whether you use flocking or paint.
I have done this by lightly spraying adhesive (found any any sewing supply or craft store) and then drizzle the fake flock over the sprayed tips of the tree. That way the flock doesn’t fall all over as you move and store the tree.
Yes, you can buy cans of spray flocking or make your own. There are several projects posted on Hometalk about how to do it. Just enter "flocking" into the search box at the top left corner of the homepage here.
