Tip: How to find all of those Christmas ornaments

by Kathy Hord
I like to use a flash light and look at every nook and cranny of my Christmas tree to look for ornaments . I use to always have a stray ornament that didn't want to be put away for another year. I use my flashlight now and fine them all. Then the hubs can take it outside for the birds to go in for Winter.

I am like Jewel. I have seven fixed cats of whom six I inherited. Three of them have a group nickname. It is the "wrecking crew". Need I say more?

They've taught me to create a ceiling fan Christmas tree. It's all upside down and it is very pretty as well as indestructible.

That sounds cool. Can you post a picture? My cat never really bothered the tree but we put sleigh bells dangling underneath so he played with those and we knew he was there.

Seems like I nearly always find an ornament when I unpack the tree the following year. I put up three, a 7-foot, a 5-foot, and a 3-foot. This year, I had just gotten a big box, so when it came time to put things away, I put the 3-foot in the box and left everything on it. All I'll have to do is lift it out and plug it in.
