I didn't know they made solar panels for that. Good to know. I agree an extension cord from the garage should work . If its close I would use a screw in plug adapter on the porch light.
JMO. When I got a chance I would add an outdoor GCFI plug. I use mine all the time. Leaf blower. Hedge trimmer. Weed wacker.
Yes, I know how you feel , I don't have an outdoor outlet in my new home 😕 when my husband retires and we move to the home full time, it will be one of the things I will have to do first !!!
