The only ones I have seen were the blow up type that requires electricity to keep inflated and blows the "snow" around. My neighbor across the street has Halloween and Christmas globes. I think they picked up at Home Depot or Lowe's.

I am assuming you mean the blow up ones that come out at christmas. They usually come with a motor that keeps them inflated and the snow floating around.
You could try a leaf blower one with multiple settings because most with only one speed would be way to strong.The main part would be outside snowglobe so it would not get affected by no intake of air or getting plugged with styrofoam beads/pieces. need to protect it from wet/moisture maybe inside vented plastic tub,garbage can HHHMMM???? don't know
