As long as you wish! I keep up through New Year's Day, then start taking things down and packing up. Some take the tree down the day after Christmas. Other countries and cultures may have different customs, as my European grandma put the tree up Christmas Eve but did not come down until the middle of January.

My mother always kept them up until January 6th. I took mine down on New Year's Day because I was a teacher and had to go back to work! Whatever works for you!
