DIY Holiday Snow Globe: Easy to Make
Take a clean clear jar and glue the item you want in your snow globe to the inside of the lid. Add water to fill (distilled is preferred because the minerals have been removed). For snow add glitter or tiny plastic flakes, screw the lid on tightly and turn it over to have the lid as the base.

Years ago I made many snow globes using baby food jars. I used mineral oil rather than glycerin and it worked great.
