If your door and window frames are wood, then these nail in clips should hold your light wires securely in place. Other decorations can be wired tightly to the clips. They come in various sizes, and in different colours.
We've used nails and wire
I installed cup hooks that remain all year long. Makes it much easier with any wind that picks up.
