I add a good number of my harry potter items to my tree. I'm such a fan.

I found one for you Shira - my wine bottle Christmas tree - lol
Since I'm nature lover I include some of my wildlife trinkets on the tree and throughout my house. I also will take stuffing that use for stuffing a pillow and put it on the tree, it looks like snow. I have a small mirror, no frame, that use for a frozen pond to display little people skating.
I recently made a ''Faux'' faux Christmas tree using an empty 1-gallon paint can, a large coffee can, a small hot cocoa can, a decaf coffee can, and a tuna can, topped with a color changing tea light and clear lid from a spray paint can. Decorated it with garland, and hung painted plastic spoons and more , then added the lights that had pill bottles on it.TOO Much?
A tampon dipped in glitter. My daughter (16) got it from her bestie at a pre-Xmas party last year. The bestie was broke at the time and had to get her creative hat on.

Santa's sleigh and the reindeer are spools of thread.
My favorite quirky decoration was a neighbor who had an Elvis in rhinestones on his front porch and "Blue Christmas" playing over a speaker. We looked forward to him every year.
We don't celebrate xmas but i do love a tree that represents the owners interests. If someone is into baseball tiny wooden bats are ornaments just personalize it.
