Quick and Simple Upcycled Chargers
I upcycled chargers that I got at the thrift store to compliment my Christmas decor using my Christmas wrapping paper.
I found some gold chargers at the thrift store a while back. I got 6 for chargers for $3.00. If you don't have any to upcycle, you can get these at The Dollar Store. I really wanted something to add a little plaid to my Christmas table so I decided an upcycle was in order.
I have used Tartan plaid wrapping paper for Christmas so I decided to incorporate that pattern into my tablescape.
I used the charger for a template. I placed the charger on the wrapping paper. I cut the paper about an inch larger than my charger plate.
I painted some mod podge onto the front of the charger. I covered it completely.
I pressed the wrapping paper onto the charger. I smoothed it gently to get rid of any bubbles.
I flipped it over and added a little mod podge to the back. To finish off the edges.
I added a top coat of mod podge and set it aside to dry completely.
I layed on my favorite china and some pretty embellishments. Now I have a hint of plaid on my Christmas table to coordinate with the rest of my decor!
