Decorating homes with varieties of Christmas trees is such a joy. And nothing like a DIY tree with materials easily available. In this video I have made a table top Christmas Tree.

Here's what I made using very simple and easily available materials. Let's see how I made these gorgeous rustic trees.

Step 1

The materials you will need are

An old lid

Skewer sticks

Glue gun

Jute rope

Some Christmas ornaments

Step 2

Attach the skewer sticks around the lid. Leave some space between each stick.

Step 3

Do not cover the entire lid. Leave some gap. The sticks will automatically form a cone shape.

Step 4

Add any ornament of your choice through the gap. You can add baubles, pine cones, balls or anything christmassy.

Step 5

After adding the ornaments, cover the gap by sticking the skewers.

Step 6

Wrap the bottom part with jute rope for few rounds until it covers the lid.

Step 7

Wind the jute rope up the cone in this manner.

Step 8

Glue all the skewer ends together and wrap them with jute rope. Add a star at the top.

Step 9

To add some sparkle, wind fairy lights around the tree and feel the magic.
