A few months ago I made this DIY Project using a bunch of the broken sand dollars that we found washed up on the beaches here in Naples, FL. I still have so many left over (both broken and unbroken sand dollars) so here is what I did with some of them (and I still have a ton left over).

I bought some 8x10 canvases and painted them this greenish blue color using craft paint.

Then I started laying out the sand dollars into snowmen. I did a family of four cause that is what we are.

Next I found some ribbon and red felt in my house and used that to make some accessories. I used some small sticks from my yard to make arms and used my glue gun to glue them all to the canvas.

I used the broken ones to make this Christmas tree.

I came up with a layout then glued them to the canvas using my glue gun.

Then I used the unbroken ones to make this Christmas tree too, and I still have a TON left over.

These were so simple to make. And if you don't have your own collection of sand dollars, you can purchase them on Amazon.
