I have to tell you that I am a total 80's girl! I'm a very nostalgic person who loves anything from the 80's & 90's, so I absolutely love how my shopping bags advent calendar turned out! If you've never done the advent calendar thing, now is the time to start. It's such a fun tradition and kids absolutely love it!

These mini gift bags were given to me and I've been looking for a reason to use them. You can get these at most craft stores in the wedding section.

Put the bags together. I used watered down craft paint so splatter paint on the bags.

Cut out numbers with felt or you can make this project even easier by using stickers. Add numbers to your bag.

Cut strips of adhesive vinyl and randomly place on bags.

Fill the bags with small gifts and cover with crinkled paper filler or tissue paper.

Aren't these little bags cute? You can use them as décor on the mantle or you can even hang them on a tree since they already have little handles! You can also fill them with notes or make one of these specifically for your spouse!
