I recently purchased some flocked alpine trees to display alongside my live tree .i needed the live fraiser fir to appear flocked.
Step 1. Completely decorate your tree, with lights and ornaments.
Step2. Starting at the top of your tree sprinkle the white shredded snow and let it gently fall onto the branches. (I stood on a two step ladder ). I used one bag of snow For this step .
Step 3- in order to get snow inside the tree and onto branches I simply took handfuls of shredded snow and threw them into the tree. For a more drifted look I placed handfuls on individual branches.
Depending on the size of your tree three bags should be adequate !
NOW GATHER THE KIDS AND MAKE IT SNOW ON YOUR TREE !
