Add pretty scrap wood Christmas Present crafts to your Christmas decor with this super easy DIY project.

For these wooden Christmas presents cut scrap wood to size about 12″x24″.

These can be used inside or outside. If you are using them outside, like I will be, definitely add a waterproof sealer.

Here is the simple tutorial.

SUPPLIES
  • Scrap Wood Cut 12″x24″
  • Buffalo Check Ribbon
  • Chalkable Chips
  • Candy Apple Chalkology Paste
  • Classic Ornaments Transfer – Chalk Couture
  • Squeegee
  • DecoArt Chalky Finish Paint In Everlasting White
  • Twine
  • Surebonder Cordless Hot Glue Gun – this is my favorite glue gun!
  • Fresh Greens
  • Red Berries
  • Cotton Stems
  • Jingle Bells

STEP 1.

Paint the scrap wood whatever color you like. I used a white chalk paint. You will need at least 2-3 coats. Let it dry completely.

STEP 2.

Attach the buffalo check ribbon to the scrap wood the same way you attach ribbon to a present.

STEP 3.

Add Christmas berries, fresh greens and cotton stems. I used a little hot glue to secure them.

STEP 4.

Use the red chalk paste to add the Christmas sentiment to the chalkable chips. These will act as the gift tags for these cute Christmas presents. Hot glue the jingle bell and you are done!

I hope you liked these wood presents. They are inexpensive to make and so easy!
