No space for a Christmas tree?

Wanting to add some more Christmas decorations around the house, why not dress up your window.

I purchased some string lights, twist ties and pine cone tree decorations from poundland to dress up a garland I had.

Every Christmas I plan to have a Christmas tree in the dining room, however, reality always puts me back in my place. There's simply no space for one so I've given up on the idea and needed a new plan

Going back to my Garland, Firstly I removed the string from a pile of left over baubles, you can untie them or cut them.

I untied mine so I could reuse the string again, you never know next year I could get my tree 😁

Then, using twist ties from the pound store or any diy store I grouped them in threes leaving enough wire to attached them to the garland, you can do this to your tree baubles aswel

With my new purchased lights I wrapped them around the garland, I used a twist tie to hold the battery pack in place, then, I used one of the branch's to hide the battery pack.

Back to my decs

I group the pine cones together using the strings that was on them to tie them together, I grouped mine in two.

This was all the decorations ready to hang on the garland

I used nail hooks to hang the garland with, I purchased them from my local diy store.

I Screwed the hooks above the window, I have soft wood nailed above my window to hold a curtain rail, I don't use it as I have a blind in the window frame, so it was the perfect place to put the hooks

I used three hooks to hang the garland.

And here you have it my quick easy window garland my compromise not being able to have a Christmas tree.

Once it's up you can attach the grouped baubles or whatever decorations you choose, add your own style and be as creative as you like.

My dining room feels very festive now without taking up any space.
