A DIY Rope Handle Tray with supplies from Dollar Tree! It’s quick, easy, budget friendly, and super cute! I hope you enjoy!

First item needed for this DIY is the Wood Frame with tin board from the crafting section at Dollar Tree!

Second item needed is the Nautical Rope from Dollar Tree

First, measuring out how big of a handle to form with the Nautical Rope on the Wood Frame with tin board

Once measured, cut two pieces of rope

Use a hot glue gun to attach the nautical rope to the wood frame

Put some hot glue on the back of the wood frame

Lay a end of one piece of nautical rope on top of the hot glue, repeat last two steps to start forming a handle.

After both handles of each side has cooled down from the hot glue, flip over the wood frame back over and add a pea size of glue to the side of the wood frame.

Hold the rope on top of the glue for a few seconds to form that lifted handle look. Repeat last two steps on each handle

Once hot glue had dried, the DIY Rope Handle Tray is ready to be shown off!

Here it is in my house hold my water pitcher and mister for my plants! This also would be so cute in the bathroom holding essentials, or displaying home decor, or even as a gift! I’ll definitely will be making more for around the house!

Did you put any kind of feet on it? How did you get the rope to lie flat on the bottom?

Love the vintage trolley tray. Did it come with casters? If not I am pretty sure you can buy some that will fit if the legs are hollow. :)

    This is so cute.

Honestly, mind went to putting the rope around the frame.

I would try to staple the rope onto the tray, I don't know that glue would hold if someone tried to pick it up by the handles.
