Pottery Barn-inspired German Glitter Easter Eggs

I don't know about you, but I rarely leave Target's dollar spot empty-handed. Recently, was no exception when I saw this GIANT Easter egg.
I had seen this glitter egg at Pottery Barn Kid's and knew I could make my own version for a fraction of the cost. And this $1 egg was perfect for the project!
I started with a bowl of german glass glitter.
After generously coating the egg with Mod Podge, I sprinkled the german glass glitter over the egg.

The remaining steps are listed on my blog post below.
I'm thrilled how my PB knock-off turned out and if you hurry, you might be able to get an egg at your local Target.

Very pretty! Where do I purchase German glitter? I've never heard about it. Thanks
