I LOVE garlands and have them all over my house. They are easy to make and you can hang them on anything... the mantel, pictures, windows, mirrors, or anywhere else you see fit. This DIY felt flower garland is colorful, whimsical and fun to make. This is also a great way for you to use up all those extra felt scraps.
Pull out your felt and green twine for this super easy craft.
Cut out leaves! I used a few different shades of green (and a blue) for my leaves.
Cut your piece of twine in the length you want your garland and start adding leaves with your hot glue gun.
Make sure you add lots of leaves to your garland.
Start with a circle of felt. Cut out a circle swirl in the middle.
Use a wooden dowel to help make the flowers. Wrap the center point around the wooden dowel and add drops of glue in between the feltto hold the flower together.
You want to glue to flower together, but don’t glue it to the dowel.
When the flower is done, slide it off the dowel.
When you are done making your flowers, start gluing them randomly to the garland.
Now you have a beautiful new garland to hang in your home!
