Hanging Tassel Garland

I'm going to give you one more reason to buy yarn... as if you actually need a reason, right? I've been making yarn crafts like they are going out of style, but I can't stop. I saw some multicolored yarn at the store the other day and had to have it. I ended up mixing it with some of my chunky yarn, which was then turned into this hanging tassel garland and it is adorable!

Decide how long you want your garland to hang and cut the yarn to length. I braided 3 pieces of yarn together with a loop at the top and bottom for my garland. Then I made some pom poms and tassels.

Tie the pom poms and tassels to the garland, spacing them out evenly.

I added a tassel to the loop on the bottom of my garlands.

Hanging your garland from a wooden dowel makes it easier to work on, but no necessary.

I've been giving my daughter's room a refresh and hung a couple of these garlands by her window... They look adorable in her room.

I hung another garland in the playroom and love how cute it looks. That's the great thing about garlands - you can hang them anywhere and everywhere, there are no rules!

I could see these hanging from trees at an outdoor wedding or decorations at a party. Do you guys love these as much as I do?
