Tassel Flower Garland

Last year I made a flower garland and it was a huge hit... I made a couple extra for friends and I still have mine hanging in my bathroom. I decided to try my hand at a new flower garland this year and I might love this one even more than last years! Plus, you probably already have everything at home to make one of these right now and it's so easy!

Start by cutting the green yarn into equal lengths and place over the yarn piece for tying. Add another color to the center, making sure these pieces are longer than the green yarn.

Tie the yarn together in the middle, flip over and tie in a double knot.

Tie another piece of yarn around the top of the flower like a regular tassel.

Decide how long you want your garland to be and cut your yarn to length. I used 3 pieces of yarn because I wanted the "vine" a little thicker. I also made a few pom poms to add to the garland.

Tie the pom poms and tassel flowers to the vine. Be sure to double knot when you tie them on and then cut off any access yarn. At this point I also added a few leaves to the flowers. I cut them out of green felt and used my hot glue gun to add them.

What do you guys think? I can see this hanging from ceilings for a wedding, decorating a party or draped in your home for some colorful springtime home décor!

Here is my garland from last year... you can see the tutorial here!
