DIY Mirror
How to get a designer looking mirror for way less cost!
I love love love the look of these mirrors but I was positive I could find a way cheaper way to make one on my own.
so let’s do this!
I started off with this mirror that I found for $58
I absolutely love the size of this one, honestly you can use any round mirror for this project.
Next I found these wooden rounds (without holes)
I have seen so many people using the wooden round balls with holes in the for projects but then they have to fill in the holes and I didn’t want any extra steps so finding these rounds were perfect. And as a bonus they had all different sizes, I decided to go with the 1.5 inch and I was going to keep them close together but u liked the look of spacing them out much better.
I lined them all out on the floor first to see what I liked best.
It seems that my dog also had to give her opinion 😆
Now I originally started this project using some left over liquid nail from a previous project, but once it dried it was not strong enough and the balls would fall off.
So I reached out to a friend and she told me to try using hot glue and a bit of E6000
and it worked like a charm, so I went back through and fixed each one and then let dry completely.
Once everything was dried I decided to paint it all black 🤦🏻♀️ I should have bought the black mirror to begin with, oh well.
I am so half with how it turned out and it was way cheaper than buying one finished.
This makes me want to give my eyelash room a little bit of an update 😉
what do you think, will you try this one?
Enjoyed the project?

I actually did one of these and filmed it on my YouTube channel. Pdubstuff.
I saw the mirror for the first time on a Youtubers channel to vacuum. Do we part and I reached out and got no response. I wanted to know where she got the mirror I didn’t even think to look on Pinterest and I have three or four round mirrors, so I went to Hobby lobby and purchase some round balls.

Frequently asked questions
Have a question about this project?
Would ping pong balls work?
Just saw one of these in a catalog for $$$ and am happy to see this because I want one for my granddaughter’s room.
How did you calculate the spacing of the balls so it ended up even?
